Beginnings

OK. Here it goes. We'll see if this blog lasts longer than that journal I got five years ago. I wrote in it for a few weeks, but then started using it for things like recording to-do lists and stock tips.

Since just as many people are likely to read this as read my journal (read: none), I'm not feeling obligated to edit much of what I write. That said, I am a Virgo and will probably keep the type-os and grammatical errors to a minimum.

This is starting off in a manner very unlike what I would normally do. In the middle of the morning on a Thursday... that's not like me. I'm a clean break kind of guy. This should start on a Monday - preferably at the beginning of the month. I probably would have started this last month when I started my new job. That would have been good. There's always crazy things going on when you take a new job. I'll have to backtrack when things hit me.

So the title of this blog and it's tag line are a reflection of my view that just about everybody has a blog these days and that they fill them with a bunch of useless babbling. People always think they are wittier than they really are. Always the last one to the party, I figured I needed to set one up too. Of course I'll try to be witty. Whether I succeed or not will be up to the reader. Since that will most likely be an audience of one, I will shortly proclaim this the best darn blog out there.

That's all for now.
